I chose the Denver Women's Chorus performing an anthem prayer. The group is a multigenerational choir of all women, who advocate for social justice created by lesbian singers as a safe place for their members to express themselves through music. I think in this performance specifically, since they are singing an anthem prayer we can really see their community shine through as they get very passionate about the lyrics. They do many different kinds of events and many of them support different social justice issues, which prove their connection to one another in fighting for something together.
