I found an example of a band called Big Push performing Wade in the Water. I’ve heard the spiritual Wade in the Water many times and I’ve even sung it in choir. So I have a connection to it. I never heard the band Big Push before but I found their recording while researching. I absolutely love it! This version of the spiritual is one I’ve never heard before and I think the element of electric guitar definitely gives it a nice color.
