A song that has a strong discovery to me is "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles. I have known of the song for a while, but rediscovered it last year when I did a dance to it in the spring. This is when I started to delve into the meaning more, realizing the lyrics had a much more meaningful connotation than I expected, and that "Eleanor Rigby" the person can represent anyone who has ever felt loneliness, or also represent meaning in that you do not truly know anyone's full story. I think this song helped me discover how music can depict ideologies of isolation even if performed by more than one person. Learning the meaning of this song really helped me put all of the emotion and passion into my dancing I could last year, so it always will hold a special place in my heart.
