Scribner Prompt #10

I chose the performance of "Mary, Did You Know?" by Pentatonix. I already knew the song from other artists and have always found it really moving, but Pentatonix makes it even more powerful. Their smooth, jazz-inspired harmonies and the way they blend their voices so precisely add a whole new depth to the piece. It also feels very intimate and reverent, which makes the song's message stand out even more. Most importantly, I appreciate how their a cappella style showcases a modern take on ensemble gospel music, making the performance both unique and emotionally powerful.
