For prompt 3, the spiritual I chose was "Ezekiel Saw the Wheel”. After learning more about spiritual types the past two weeks, I have determined this song is a syncopated, segmented melody spiritual. The major teller is the upbeat tone and fast melody with short, choppy lyrics. The tone is very lively and happy, which differs from the other two distinctions of spirituals.
