Hi you all!
Today I chose to share videos from two nonprofit children’s choirs that really moved me. Both choirs are nonprofit organizations that make music accessible to kids and focus on amplifying their voices. They foster a strong sense of belonging and community, which resonates with the communal aspect of shape note singing. The songs they perform also carry powerful themes of resilience, unity, and hope that connect well with this module.
