Quinn Prompt 8

I picked a video of someone performing A Thousand Years in Leicester Square in London. I liked this clip because this song on its own is very powerful and is even played at weddings sometimes. In the video, the performer is genuinely engaging the public space, turning an everyday street setting into a moment of shared art. It also captures the element of spontaneity as people stop, listen, and even dance, showing how street performance can create community. It also made me think about how public performance blurs the line between performer and listener, and how that dynamic might parallel historic street-performing traditions (like those blind street musicians you mentioned in Beijing).
