My favorite performance by a soul singer is Roberta Flack, "Killing Me Softly With His Song." This is one of my favorite songs; I have enjoyed it ever since I was younger. Her voice is beautiful, and the melody is one that you want to keep singing yourself. Her performance is amazing, and you can see the powerful emotion on her face. Flack also won a Grammy for record of the year with this song in 1974.
