I chose the Clark Sisters and their song "You Brought the Sunshine." This performance is exciting and brings a lot of energy. The harmonies, call-and-response with the audience, and the sisters’ emotional delivery all capture the essence of gospel. You can really feel how their voices build on each other, creating both musical and spiritual intensity. It’s also a great example of how gospel evolved into contemporary styles that influenced R&B and pop while still keeping its heartfelt core.
