BROWN Prompt 4

 For this week's prompt, I chose a performance of "Deep River" by Barbra Streisand. I chose this example because I am somewhat familiar with Streisand and also with the spiritual through last week's module. I think Barbra's voice is beautiful and that she did an excellent job at displaying the emotion through her singing. 

Another reason I chose this example is that some parts of this track are a song that I played on my instrument when I was younger called "The Water is Wide" though I am unsure whether or not it is a spiritual. I think it is cool that she mashed the songs together for this performance.
