Last week I used "Selah", performed by Kanye West and The Sunday Choir.

Call and Response: This is very obvious in this performance. It feels like a conversation between the choir and Kanye. Sometimes he will say a line, and the choir will respond. This happens mainly when the choir responds with “hallelujah”, but also a few other lines.
Slow, sustained long phrase: There aren’t many long notes; however, the lines flow very smoothly, and there is a lot of emotion to it. Sometimes the instruments will quiet down and the choir will get louder in longer notes.
Syncopated, segmented melody: I noticed this throughout most of the performance. The melody is oftentimes broken up and can go off-beat. The whole performance is extremely energetic and complex; many of the choir members even clapped during certain points of the performance.
